About 28 people and 9 period cars made the trip from IHOP to Todd Tatro's Design Shop in Leander. He employs about 18 people and the building is about 11,000 square feet. They machine steel dies for a large variety of customers. Their nominal accuracy is about a 2 thousands of an inch and they can do 1 thousands. With their EDM machines, they can do .5. Most all their work is designed on a computer. The project is sent to a server and then to the designated CNC machine. They have been there less than 2 years and the business has double since 2012. They did about 2.5 million dollars in sales and when they add some plastic injection machines, their business should double again.
