Tour to Taylor, Texas and the Dan Moody Museum
January 15, 2000

It was a beautiful January day when the Lone Star Model A Ford Club members and 19 Model A Fords gathered together to drive out to Taylor, Texas.  It was not a long drive and we only had one minor mechanical problem. We are definitely learning from our mistakes.

We stopped at the historical Dan Moody Museum (top photo) then proceeded to park next to the bank building downtown. Lunch was at the Texas Historic Café. It took a long time, but about 40 of us showed up at once - never mind that they knew we were coming!

After lunch, we hit the streets and the antique stores. Some of us are looking for antiques in general and others are searching for era items: Fashions, toys, books, hats and anything else from 1928 to 1931 - the same years as the cars.
